Indigenous Student Mentor

We have current casual opportunities to assist with our Indigenous Student Program providing leadership, mentoring, academic support and general guidance
to our Indigenous Student cohort.
You would be responsible to the Indigenous Student Coordinator and work with relevant teaching, boarding and support staff.
Expected hours are one or two evenings a week as required and as availability allows.
Due to the makeup of the current mentoring team, preference will be afforded to male candidates in order to provide students with a balance of both male
and female role models.
Qualification / Experience Requirements
We are looking for Mentors who have
- good communication and interpersonal skills,
- are reliable and punctual,
- have knowledge of issues that impact Indigenous youth
- and have the drive to assist and guide students to set realistic goals and work toward achieving them.
