 The New Royal Adelaide Hospital

When completed, the new Royal Adelaide Hospital be the largest, busiest and most technologically advanced hospital in Australia with 800 single in-patient rooms, including 100 same-day beds and 80,000 same-day and overnight patient admissions per year.

Spotless will be the facility manager, managing services within a hospital building, that is three city blocks long and two wide.

 

The Role

You will be responsible for a range of patient support services over day and night, within the new Royal Adelaide Hospital. Main responsibilities will include moving patients, delivery of meals to patients, imprest stocking, ordering and handling linen, general cleaning tidiness and upkeep of patient areas.

 

We are looking for reliable individuals who will demonstrate strong communication skills, a hands on attitude, as well as a friendly, professional manner.

 

Skills and Experience

Students working towards a medical or nursing university qualification are encouraged to apply

  • Displays competency in the reading and writing of English to enable required duties to be performed safely and to acceptable levels
  • Displays exemplary communication skills
  • Displays a willingness & flexible approach to work requirements and change in work practices
  • Displays a positive attitude and approach to working as part of a team
  • Willingness to improve skills and take an active part in further development
  • A positive approach to working safely
  • A positive approach to the notion that continual quality improvement is always possible
  • Displays positive communication skills
  • Previous experience in a PSSA Service or similar position is preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment is desirable but not essential

 

A criminal history check will be conducted before employment
