All Campers are allocated a carer for the duration of camp and you are responsible for ensuring all your camper's support needs are met.
This could involve personal care, such as assistance with eating, showering and going to the toilet; participation in activities; supporting social interaction; and making sure campers are safe, occupied and having a good time. You may also need to assist your camper during the night, to turn in bed or for younger campers helping them settle.
Volunteers may be paired up to provide campers support however support, advice and training will be provided both prior to and during the camp event.
In most cases you will be sharing a room or dorm with your camper and other campers and carers.A positive, encouraging and supportive role is required by all volunteer carers.
Camp Capacity has been utilised by some students towards placement hours in previous years.
Five day camp including evenings, starting from Wednesday 19th April 2017 from 9am - till Sunday 23rd of April 2017 2pm.
Applicants must have a DCSI- Child Related Emplyment Screening Clearance
Applicants with a Provide First Aid Certificate encouraged to apply
