Oaktree engages with over 180,000 youth and supporters across Australia. We are able to do this through our State Branches with lead grassroots actions throughout the nation. 



Want to join a team of young and passionate individuals? Apply to be out next South Australian Projects Coordinator! Oaktree's major projects, such as Live Below the Line, are an important way to gain support, raise funds, and spread the word about the movement to end poverty. Our Projects Team is crucial in helping run these campaigns to the best of our abilities. The role of the SA Projects Coordinator involves managing a passionate team of three to four volunteers. As a team, you will be building relationships with external organisations and community groups to promote Oaktree's campaigns. You will also be involved in branch activities and correspondence with our national team.

Assertive and friendly people like our Projects Team Members are key to creating and maintaining these relationships. As a Project Team Member, you will be responsible for creating strong external relationships within South Australia to grow Oaktree's brand, create revenue streams and strengthen out political and social impact through Oaktree's campaigns like Live Below the Line

What you will be involved in

  • Broadening Oaktree's brand presence and communication our vision
  • Reaching campaigning targets and goals
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, particularly schools
  • Building a stable revenue stream by engaging with our supporters through regular phone banking sessions
  • Communicating weekly about priorities and challenges faced by your partnerships
  • Creating and testing new revenue streams to strengthen our political and social impact
